The Baby Journey with PCOS: Telling Sexy Husband he my baby Daddy!

Since I had finally discovered the truth with the non-faulty digital test at The Mom's house, I decided to wait until that evening to tell Sexy Husband the he would be my "Baby Daddy". I had joked him constantly that I was going to start calling him my Baby Daddy whenever we got pregnant.

So I decided to surprise him with a gift. I bought a card, an "Expectant Father" book, and an airhorn. Now this is another joke in our house, because SH sleeps so heavy I say that if I go into labor in the middle of the night I will need the airhorn to wake him!

Luckily for me, SH received a package from Amazon that day so I took it and removed the original contents, replacing them with the three items from "Baby H" and resealed the box. I hid the original content and set the box in his computer chair like nothing was out of the ordinary.

I had to wait until he got home that night and finally opened the package. I had to pretend I didn't know what he was talking about when he asked if I had opened the box. He then came into the living room holding the book and airhorn in one hand and the card in the other.

Now this is where him being a male really showed because I had written on the card "Open First!" Did he open it first? No!


I made him read the card before I would say anything else and then he hugged me. He did not respond with great enthusiasm but I think that is because he was terrified at the thought of being a daddy! Ha ha ha!
