One point for the yippers....

Though I am not sure I have mentioned it on this blog at least not in a while:
I am not a big fan of dogs.
Now let me define that abit. I can admire a pretty or cute dog from a distance. I can go awww over puppies. I can be friends with people who own dogs. But personally I don't like to be around them much because they make me sneeze and I ....I ...I am a cat person. Even moreso I really cannot stand yippers. You know the little dogs that tend to look like mops, rats, or indescribable things that yip, yap, and annoy. I can even be cruel enough at times to think that the world would be better without them (along with mosquitoes) but today they (well at least one of them) won a point in my book.

According to this article her name is Zoey:

MASONVILLE, Colo. - Zoey is a Chihuahua, but when a rattlesnake lunged at her owners' 1-year-old grandson, she was a real bulldog. Booker West was splashing his hands in a birdbath in his grandparents' northern Colorado back yard when the snake slithered up to the toddler, rattled and struck. Five-pound Zoey jumped in the way and took the bites.

"She got in between Booker and the snake, and that's when I heard her yipe," said Monty Long, the boy's grandfather.

The dog required treatment and for a time it appeared she might not survive. Now she prances about.

"These little bitty dogs, they just don't really get credit," Booker's grandma Denise Long told the Loveland Daily Reporter-Herald.

Article From Yahoo

So hooray for Zoey and I guess the yippers (at least that one) have my admiration for a moment....but not for long so don't get your hopes up, yippers!
