Arbor Day Early

We have been oh so slowly doing things to make our yard look better. It had been neglected for a while before we bought the house so it is slow progress. We had a jungle back on the back fence that we have finally cleared and made look much better.

For our first year anniversary, I took Sexy Husband to Lowe's and walked him into the garden section. Bringing him to the trees, I pointed to them and said "Pick one and we will pardon future paper." This was one of my "presents" for the "paper" anniversary.

We did not have a vehicle that could carry the tree at that time so we had to just discuss which one we wanted. We finally agreed on a blossoming pink cherry. We finally got them and today we planted them having our arbor day early.
