She's Back!!!

VICTORY!!
The Imp has triumphed! Jacqui is gone for now. Ha! It has been a rough week, the battle was tough. Many tears, prayers and good conversations with friends helped this Imp to pull through. Many thanks and much love to this Imp's best friend and sister Mrs. H, as we will call her, for allowing this Imp to call her and cry on the phone in the middle of the night. And another thanks and love to Beauty Queen for allowing this Imp to interrupt her ice cream and talk. (Oh and small side note to thank Mrs. H's husband since he was trying to sleep and wasn't grumpy at the call)
It is so amazing to have such awesome friends! Praise the Lord in more ways than one!
Another thing that helped was last night on a very spur of the moment thought I went to my dance class. I had planned on staying home in isolation one more night until full recovery was made from the struggle with Jacqui but then I knew dancing was exactly what I needed. And boy was I right!
Gliding around the room in the arms of the dance teacher as we danced a waltz was heaven. I was able to close my eyes let the teacher lead and just enjoy the moment. It made me think of my walk with the Lord and made me realize that I won the battle of Jacqui when I finally just shut my eyes and let the Lord lead the dance that I call my life. Then to end the evening I was able to dance the Hustle with a favorite dancing partner. All my worries, stress, depression, and confusion flew away with those twists, turns and (of course) the pretzel move! I felt so alive when I was through though I knew my feet would complain later. I went home smiling and singing.
So here I am back in full imp form ready to make people smile. Ready to love even if it is not returned. Ready to care when others will not. Ready to "Add to the Beauty" as Beauty Queen would express :)
I noticed then on some friend's blogs and thought I would do my own. Seven things, I think is what it is called.
Seven things to do before I die:
  1. Have children. (Yes I know I need to get married first, minor detail..ha ha)
  2. Tell the man I love...well that I love him ha ha
  3. Tell everyone else I love them as well
  4. Finish writing my book
  5. Travel everywhere, I want to see as much of this world as possible
  6. Be in a production of Phantom of the Opera (preferably as Christine but would even be a prop...ha ha!)
  7. Ride as many roller coasters as possible

Seven things I cannot do:

  1. Eat bellpepper or raw onion
  2. Go without music for more than an hour
  3. Put a pillow over my head
  4. Not laugh (even in my bluest hours I still can somehow laugh)
  5. sit still
  6. talk without using my hands
  7. have blonde hair (makes me look sick)

Seven things that attract me to Mrs. H (my best friend)

  1. Her smile
  2. The fact she knows all my faults and still loves me
  3. I have hurt her feelings and been stupid and she still puts up with me
  4. She is there for me always, even if it is by cellphone
  5. She is my rationale, conscious...my Jimminy Cricket
  6. She inspires me, holds me accountable, and makes me laugh
  7. She is my sister though we don't share parents :)

(need more than seven but that is seven of many...Love ya Mrs. H!)

Seven things I say most often:

  1. you know?
  2. I am confused!
  3. when i have kids i....
  4. bless their heart
  5. snap snap
  6. good gravy
  7. Bloody hell (my most common naughty words)

Seven books (or series) I enjoyed and could read again

  1. The Mark of Lion by Francine Rivers
  2. The Hawk and the Jewel by Lori Wick
  3. Life is Tremendous by Charlie "Tremendous" Jones
  4. Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers
  5. Don't Let Anybody Steal Your Dream by Dexter Yeager
  6. How to Win Friends and Influence People by Andrew Carnegie
  7. Anything by Julia Quinn

Seven movies I watch over and over again

  1. Bob Hope and Bing Crosby "Road to" movies
  2. Phantom of the Opera
  3. Van Helsing
  4. Peter Pan (2003 version)
  5. The Village
  6. McClintock
  7. Pirates of Carribean

So there ya have it. That was fun and hopefully interesting...if not oh well ha ha! Well it is time for this Imp to go and socialize...something I wasn't sure I ever wanted to do again a few days ago....ha like I really believed those Jacqui lies!

The Imp's new family and one of the reason's she won against Jacqui!

This Imp and Mrs H. (the night before she became Mrs. H.)
Love to everyone!

Hey sweet Mel! Welcome back!
I'm glad Ice Cream time was interrupted b/c it was going along with another vice of mine, SATC. But it was Peppermint icecream that my Mom bought during Christmas, a tradition in my family to have that with homemade hot fudge sauce, recipe: 1/2 cup butter, 1 cup sugar, and 2 squares of unsweetened chocolate with a little milk stirred in towards the end of heating. To die for!
Praise God for your dance and release back to Him, the lover of your soul. He gives us the ability to Laugh, Live and Love daily, I pray I remember to operate in the 3 L's daily and will continue to pray that for you.
